Change the color without changing the subject
Try a light blue for a profile image, black for contrast or white for a clean presentation. The background color sits behind the cutout; it is not a filter that recolors your clothes or product.
Bring your own background image
Upload a studio, room or another background you are allowed to use. The editor covers the canvas with that image, so its edges may be cropped to fit. Choose a scene with a perspective and lighting that suit your subject.
Finish the cutout first
Inspect hair, shoulders and small openings before adding a new setting. Erase and restore help refine the automatic mask. This tool does not generate backgrounds from a prompt or create realistic new shadows.
Match a replacement background to the existing photo
A portrait cutout can look different on a flat color and a photographed room. Review the original light direction and framing when choosing a replacement; changing a backdrop is not the same as relighting the person.
